At the gates of a new League of Legends Superliga Orange season, new changes in the national scene arrive with the 'farewell' of ASUS ROG Army and the 'arrival' in its place of S2V Esports.
On Thursday, January 10, ASUS ROG Army announced its farewell to the league. A farewell to the competition but not to eSports, as Army will turn to content creators in a new business strategy.
Army itself announced the change of sponsorship and direction, continuing "outside the professional league with a project to be announced soon". This being a great future opportunity for new talent in the industry.
Not long after, the brand that owns ASUS ROG Army announced the end of this sponsorship. But the club will continue very much alive under the name of S2V Esports, assuming all its places both in Superliga Orange and in Gfinity or SimRacing.
